Sony HDR-SR8 Full HD is Not Full HD

Sony is misleading by advertising the HDR-SR8 as Full HD 1080. Their horizontal lines may be 1080, but their vertical lines are only 1440.
This is very misleading on Sony’s behalf. All of their TV’s with the Full HD 1080 sticker are 1920×1080 resolution.

The HDR-SR8 supports 1080i inputs, but since the display panel was actually 1920×1080, they said it applied…
